The room

The room and the garden

  • A paper garden at night. In the black sky full of white stars, five paper stars hang from a thread. Below, three zebra-striped hills and a row of six paisley-shaped hedges full of flowers and leaves. In front, a lawn of black and white squares, crossed by a path of leopard-spotted stones.
In the room the chequerboard floor rises and becomes the ceiling, and the cargo trousers hang on the back wall.
Outside there is a paper garden, with hedges clipped into paisley shapes, zebra-striped hills and a sky full of stars.
