Legal guarantee

Every piece you buy on blowhammer.com comes with the legal guarantee of conformity. The law gives it to you, it is free of charge and it lasts 2 years from delivery.

What it covers

The guarantee covers any lack of conformity that already existed when you received the piece and that shows within 2 years from delivery. If the defect shows within one year of delivery, it is presumed to have existed at delivery. It also applies when you receive a piece different from the one you ordered.

What you can ask for

You can choose between repair and replacement, unless your choice is impossible or would cost a disproportionate amount. If we don't put it right, if the defect comes back or if it is serious, you can ask for a proportionate price reduction or ask to terminate the contract and get a refund. For a minor defect the contract cannot be terminated, but you can still ask for the price reduction.

What it costs

Nothing. Shipping, materials and labour are at our expense.

How to claim it

Write to info@blowhammer.com with your order number, the piece and the defect. If you can, add a photo. We'll reply with instructions for sending us the piece at our expense.

The legal guarantee is separate from the right to cancel (right of withdrawal), which you'll find on the Returns, exchanges and refunds page.
