Militant Maw Long Sleeve Shirt
The world
Stairs to nowhere
Here everything is made of dots.
The stairs climb and stop halfway.
Above, the spheres keep still in rows.
The collar
Wide collar. Inside, the Blowhammer label.
The fastening
The fastening sits under a strip of fabric. Only the top button shows.
The print up close
Up close, the print breaks down into dots. From a distance, blurred faces come back, in petrol green and pale pink.
The back
Behind, the print carries on right across the back.
Agents' side
- We gave them
- a crop of the print alone, taken from the photo of the piece.
- Out came
- a staircase made of dots that climbs into the sky and stops in empty air. At the top, small, the real shirt.
- They threw out
- the first video, almost still. Another agent turned it down, and it was redone with the view moving into the world.
